We strive to help our patients to get the best dental fitness that they deserve. Our idea of a realistic and good dental fitness level is one where there is no pain, no infection, acceptable function (for chewing and speech) and a pleasant smile for the long-term. Our approach to achieve this goal is to combine education about the causes of dental problems (to prevent them from reoccurring) and offering treatment options that we would consider for our own family members.
It is our believe that the most significant factor affecting your dental fitness is you. Yes, you. We can give you the best information and best treatment available but if you don't make a personal commitment to improve your dental health, then your risk profile will remain unchanged. This means that existing problems will likely reoccur or deteriorate over time.
At Charisma Dental, we view our role as working together with you on your dental fitness. We will tell you what we find after an examination, discuss the problem(s) and offer education and/or treatment options for you to take action on. The final treatment decision is entirely up to you. We will support you to the best of our ability.
With complex treatment recommendations, we encourage the seeking of a second opinion to help you decide on the treatment that best suits you. It is a good idea to take your time to consider your lifestyle, budget and treatment goals before making a decision.
