Steven graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Science in 1991. He then worked in the dental industry for 6 years before returning to the University of Otago, New Zealand and completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2001. 

  

Dental practitioners are required to complete a minimum of 60 hours of continuous professional development (CPD) activities over a three-year CPD cycle. Steven has completed over 50 hours of CPD activities in the current cycle (Nov 2022 - Oct 2025).
